“Sid began his love of art by capturing the shapes and shadows through the lens of a camera. He then discovered that painting with acrylics on a variety of surfaces and with a range of brushes using both strokes and splatters could further open the imagination. In this way each piece is completed and becomes finished when it finds a title.

As the viewer, you are invited create your own title for the painting or to be challenged to understand the title the artist assigned.

While creating his own stained glass designs, glass, like photography, takes a much tighter control of both shapes and designs. If the viewer likes the painting or the stained glass, that’s fine.

If the viewer does not like the work, that’s fine also. Either way it has created a response,

Which is the purpose of art.”
