Seasons of Change
Call for Artists: “Seasons of Change”
The Skiatook Arts Center is excited to announce an open call for artists to participate in our upcoming show, “Seasons of Change”. This exhibition will explore the beauty, challenges, and transformation that come with life’s seasons, both literal and metaphorical.
We invite artists from all mediums to submit their work that reflects this theme and inspires meaningful connections with our community, state, or nation. Or... however you interpret the theme; art is subjective after all.
Submission Guidelines:
• Theme: Seasons of Change.
• Accepted Mediums: Painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, digital art, and more (please email if you have a question).
• Submission Deadline: March 28th 2025.
• High-quality images of up to 3 pieces of your work.
• A brief artist statement (300 words max) explaining your interpretation of the theme.
• Your contact information (name, email, phone).
Key Dates:
• Deadline to Drop Off Artwork: Friday, March 28, 2025.
• Opening Reception: Saturday evening, April 5, 2025.

This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your talent, engage with the Skiatook community, and celebrate the power of art to reflect change and growth. We look forward to seeing your interpretations of this meaningful theme!
Opening Reception:
• Join us for “Seasons of Change”, an inspiring showcase of local art exploring the beauty of transformation and growth. This is a come-and-go event—drop in any time between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM to enjoy the art, meet the artists, and connect with the community. Whether you stay for a short visit or linger for the evening, we’d love to see you there! Light refreshments will be provided.

Pioneer Day Art Soirée
Mark your calendars, spread the word, our pioneer day arts soirée is back!
Artist, submissions are now open. (Ps it’s free!) The theme for this year is: OSAGE COUNTY! It is an open theme, so whatever your interpretation of “Osage County” is, we want to see it! Photography, painting, mixed media, collage, sculpture, jewelry, any and all art mediums are welcome.
We will have four different categories for judging again
-Kids
-Student
-Novice
-Master
All artwork must be dropped off at the Arts Center by September 16th (and you cannot just drop in, you just schedule with us ahead of time!) we will have our evening soirée Saturday September 21st 6pm till 8pm.
